Authorised CMC Faculty and students of MBBS, AHS, Medical PG Degree/Diploma, M.Sc. (NM), M.Sc. Nursing are allowed to use the library and borrow books against their Library borrowers’ cards.
Circulation Services:
Two Weeks Books: These books may be borrowed for a period of two weeks and may be renewed for another two weeks if there is no demand. These books are marked with white stripes on the front cover.
Three Days Books:
These books are marked with yellow stripes on the front cover and they may be borrowed for three days and are cannot be renewed.
Reserve Books:
These books are marked with red stripes on the front cover and they may be borrowed after 4pm and returned before 10 am the next working day.
Reference Books:
These books may be used only inside the Library premises and on no condition or occasion these books will be lent out.
Borrowing privileges:
Under Graduate students will be given 2 cards and may borrow up to 2 books at a time against their cards.
Post Graduate students (Non-medical and Nursing) will be given 2 books or bound volumes and 3 journals.
Readers are requested to register their mobile number and email id. The reminders will be sent to the registered mobile number and email id. Kindly update this details if there is any change in future.
Overdue Charges will apply as per the Library policy if the book are not returned on time.
KIOSK (Automatic Borrowing)
Faculty and Students may also borrow the books through the Automatic KIOSK desk available at the Dodd Library by using their RFID integrated Identity cards. The machine will issue the book to the users with a print out of due date and other details.
Drop Box (To return books) Dodd Library is installed with a “Book Drop Box” out side the Library, where a user can return the book 24X7. They will be issued an acknowledgement slip by the machine confirming their returning of the book.
