UNAIDS has purchased 26 licenses and set up a consortium on HIV and AIDS related e-books for the 281 Medical Colleges across india. Called "AIDS InfoNet" the consortium provides free and perpetual access to 18 e-books from reputed publishers. The e-books may be access through the http://www.netlibrary.com using the username and password. Those who would like to access these e-books kindly mail to manuel@cmcvellore.ac.in.

Anyone in India with access to the internet now has complementary access to reliable, up-to-date evidence on health care interventions from The Cochrane Library, thanks to sponsorship provided by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) that recently signed a three-year contract for a national subscription with the publishers, John Wiley & Sons.
